Working on a CNG vehicle fuel system
Repairing and maintaining a compressed natural gas (CNG) fuel system – with flammable gas and working pressures of 3,600 psi or more, can be safe if you understand and follow the rules.
CNG pressure zones determine to depressurize or defuel.
Each year, I think about the helpful people in my network, and thank them for their generosity. Here are the Top Five people who rock for 2015. Ladies first, so here we go.

Paul Banwell is a co-worker at Agility Fuel Systems, and was able to help me work through a strange, but normal glitch in the CAD program we use at work. It took me several hours of searching and experimenting, but Paul came through with the solution.
Mike Gustafson is another co-worker at Agility Fuel Systems. In a similar but different CAD scenario, Mike helped me meet a deadline for a marketing department project.
Bob McIntosh is a job search coach and LinkedIn trainer. As his award states, he is constantly writing and sharing news and thoughts about career management. His blog, Things Career Related, is filled with useful information.

As 2014 comes to a close, I’d like to thank the special people who have either supported me in some way, or taught me new skills or life lessons. These are folks that really rock, and deserve some recognition.

I report to Yosh Coy at Agility Fuel Systems. I always learn something new from him each time we have a conversation. Yosh has an incredible depth of knowledge on LNG and CNG technology. Yosh rocks!
Dave Crowley is a technical instructor at the Natural Gas Vehicle Institute (NGVi). His session on CNG inspections were informative and included plenty of hands-on demonstrations during the class.
Sabrina Dodd and Jamie Johnson, both from the NGVi, deserve special recognition for their support and customer care before, during and after the NGVi classes in Long Beach, CA.
Paul Pate (then training manager at NGVi), lead an excellent class on natural gas vehicle technology – from the fuel storage cylinders to the exhaust tailpipe, his session was interesting and informative.
Here is an update on Paul: Paul now has two careers, first joining a family business called CNG Elite Inspection Services, an inspection and compliance company for CNG vehicles and is also the Technical Training Director at Automotive Research and Design (AR&D) and Panoptic Training.

I wish regular gas is less than $4 per gallon. I paid four-something per gallon last week filling my Prius . . .
And perhaps the biggest buzz on the show floor was the reaction to this news release we issued during the ACT show. . .
An article in Fleets and Fuels says, “…30 compressed natural gas-fueled trucks for Saddle Creek in Texas (and one in Louisiana), and 55 liquefied natural gas-fueled trucks for Blu in Utah and Georgia…”

MCI recently won an order for 84 of their CNG buses ($107.4 million) from New Jersey Transit.
